Awesome. I am familiar with the Codonopsis you carry.

From your description, it still sounds very yin & neutral in temperature/energy.

Jimmy,
Good question- we're still exploring it ourselves. I've been taking it daily, and in taste and energy, what it reminds me of most is Codonopsis, if that's familiar to you. It tastes rooty and food-like, quite sweet, definitely nourishing, deep and supportive, but in a calm and steady way. Very Yin, I think, not cold, but certainly not dry or hot.

I'll be certain to leave some feedback.

I'm wondering, is the American variety still very Yin oriented like the Siberian; moistening, deeply replenishing, sweet taste, etc....?

Jimmy- thanks for your comments and excitement about the Solomon's Seal! The Siberian is such a great tonic, I agree, very deep and supportive. It's one of those Spagyrics that just makes me feel good every time I take it. The new American is more active in a way, it adjusts and moves through as it stabilizes. I think you'll really enjoy it- be sure to let us know what you think when you play with it some.

I've taken Siberian Solomon's Seal in the months previous, and it's become my ONE herb.

Love it!

Lola,
I wish I had a supplier I could suggest to you- since we need more, too, and it's become impossible to find! Besides its amazing shamanic properties, Wild Red Asparagus is also a superior respiratory herb, and during the SARS epidemic in China years ago, the Chinese government stopped allowing export of the root. Since then, we've been unable to find a steady supply, except the occasional couple of ounces here and there from traveling friends. Sorry I can't be more help on this, I'd like to see it in the market again, too, although it will always be rare.

Hi Micah. I'm on a hunt to purchase wild red asparagus and can't find it anywhere. Do you know where I can get it? Thanks so much! Getting ready to FLY. Lola

Melisa,
Thanks for asking about the Distillation Module- it is an important skill and a magical process!

The new Distillation Module is part of our whole curriculum, it's not a stand-alone class or a free offering. You can see the entire course listing and tuition information here. Application has started for the next session, if you missed that announcement through our newsletter, you can read more here.
