I've been taking it daily, and in taste and energy, what it reminds me of most is <a href="http://www.al-qemi.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=131" rel="nofollow">Codonopsis</a>, if that's familiar to you. The Siberian is such a great tonic, I agree, very deep and supportive. It's one of those Spagyrics that just makes me feel good every time I take it. The new American is more active in a way, it adjusts and moves through as it stabilizes. Besides its amazing shamanic properties, Wild Red Asparagus is also a superior respiratory herb, and during the SARS epidemic in China years ago, the Chinese government stopped allowing export of the root. Since then, we've been unable to find a steady supply, except the occasional couple of ounces here and there from traveling friends. Sorry I can't be more help on this, I'd like to see it in the market again, too, although it will always be rare. -Micah Lola,
